Test to this website’s server

Up to 8 s each for download and upload; up to 192 MB of test data in total.

Pause other transfers and keep this tab visible. The test uses your internet data allowance.

Ready to start

Results depend on routing, Wi-Fi, VPN use and server load. This estimates your connection to imgpic, not your plan’s guaranteed speed.

What the results mean

Download

How quickly data reaches you. The result divides received bits by the stage’s elapsed time, including HTTP request overhead.

Upload

How quickly you send data. The final result counts only data acknowledged by the server; incomplete requests are excluded.

Latency

The median of 7 HTTP round trips after a warm-up request. It includes network latency and server response time; it is not ICMP ping.

Jitter

The mean absolute difference between consecutive latency readings. Lower values mean more consistent response times in this test.

1 Mbps = 1,000,000 bits/s. For test data, 1 MB = 1,048,576 bytes; network headers are excluded from the counter.

About the speed test

Why does this differ from other speed tests?

This test uses this website’s server and up to two parallel connections. Distance, routing, hosting settings and other traffic affect results. On fast connections, the data cap may end a stage early.

Do I need to upload my own files?

No. The test generates random data. The endpoint counts received bytes without saving them as files. You can clear the results history using the button above.

Can I test mobile internet?

Yes. Choose quick mode if your data allowance is limited. To compare tests, use the same location and settings.
